2009 Shenzhen & Hong Kong Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism \ Architecture will take place from 6 December, 2009 to 23 January, 2010 in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Under the theme “City Mobilization”, the exhibition will be an accessible and engaging event aiming at investigating the possibility of bottom-up mobilization and the organization of social life in the context of China’s contemporary urbanity.

For architects and artists who really want to change the way Shenzhen citizens interact with the surroundings, they need to change the way people consider and experience their cities first. The influence of good architecture design is beyond the building or the design itself. During the exhibition, the new projects and temporary installations in Shenzhen will tell people what you see is not always what is there.

At 4pm this Saturday (24th) afternoon, a panel discussion on the theme City Mobilization will take place in Art De vivre Space. Two curators and several participants of the Bi-city Biennale will introduce and discuss their thoughts during their preparation. Welcome to join us.
