Sheng Keyi

Sheng Keyi was born in Yiyang, Hunan in the 1970s. She once lived in Shenzhen, Beijing, Shenyang, Guangzhou and other cities and served as a stock company staff, secretary and magazine editor, etc. She started her writing career since 2002 and has completed five full-length novels and several collections of short stories, which include Ode to Morality, Girl of North, Shui Ru, Live On, Out of Love, Heating Motion, among others. Some of her works have been translated into English, German, and Japanese and published abroad. She was awarded as the most promising new author of the First Chinese Language Literature Prize in 2003.
